Well, Matt is awesome. I thought I was being so astute curating a rhyming treasure hunt this morning - snuck around and picked out some super awesome books for his presents that I knew he'd love: DIY Furniture by Christopher Stewart, Microsound by Curtis Roads (he's really into Monomes and Arcs - and they're actually really amazing but far too challenging for me, I think - check out this video if you're curious).
I had some extra time the other day and accidentally fell through the doors of Urban Outfitters downtown - imagine that? I'm happy to report that I didn't cave and buy anything for myself! However, I did happen to find some color negative film to add to my V-day gifts for Matt as well as this little cutie-pants book.
The next few paragraphs - I'll admit - I'm boasting, but Matt did and always does a really great job of making me feel so special to him. He remembers all the little things and all the big things - he goes out of his way and he is so clever and cute. A recipe for the bestest. I love him to bits and pieces.
This boy cleaned and detailed my entire truck inside and out. This was a job. QUITE a job. Feels like I'm cruising around in a brand new whip. Also -
We went into this really great little specialty stationary shop called Mockingbird Paperie in the Ithaca Commons a couple of weeks ago - I fell in love with everything in the store. Matt got me a Recipe Tin that contained the most adorably constructed recipe cards from the shop. One was filled out extra cute.
My favorite part; Five Guys burgers fully loaded afterwards for lunch. I love this boy.
