chantal came for a girls night a while back and taught me about acure - my new most favorite skin care line, because -- it's 100% organic and super inexpensive! you might remember chantal from her featured post in community artistry. she is an incredibly talented make-up artist and skin care guru. she is also the writer of askderm's skinfacts. if you haven't checked out askderm yet, well - you should. they have a wide array of products and will price match any competitor. this is my go-to for all things skin care!
first! we used the foreo luna coupled with the acure sensitive facial cleanser. we applied a penny-sized dollop on the silicone bristles, turned on the luna, and washed in a circular pattern for two minutes. the foreo luna is a deep cleaning technological method that sends t-sonic pulsations to deeply cleanse and revitalize skin. i am picking up this cleanser for sure.
second! we exfoliated with acure brightening facial scrub. this scrub includes organic sea kelp, french green clay, and lemon peel - a great deep cleanse that refreshed both my skin and my senses!
third! we applied the acure cell stimulating facial mask. what a sight. there were photos involved but all are locked in the vault. i love the combination of french green clay, moroccan argan oil, and chlorella, all working together to draw out deeply imbedded impurities without drying your skin.
fourth! we moisturized with acure oil control facial moisturizer. i've already ordered this because it is the best. acure uses lilac stem cells to balance and heal blemishes and chlorella growth factor to rejuvenate damaged skin cells. my favorite was that it relieved the tightness, dried super quick, and i couldn't even tell it was there!
lastly - chantal brought over some great askderm serums for me to try as well; 100% pure argan oil and triple power vitamin c! the argan helps to diminish fine lines, treat stretch marks and scars, balance your skin, and can be used on your hair and nails, too. my hair needs this serum so badly in the winter - i personally loved this one and couldn't get enough of it! the triple power vitamin c serum uses a combination of 3 separate forms of vitamin c to promote collagen and brighten your skin -- another great product for the long winter months. <3
i hope you enjoyed this review! have you tried acure or shopped with askderm? i'd love to hear what your favorite products are!
